Entry for November 19, 2006 - Deaf Club, My Parents, and My New Purse.

I went to GDBAD Thanksgiving Dinner Party last night.  I had a great time.  I felt too quiet but I did chatting with some deaf people.  The food was so delicious but pieces of turkey is hard.  I like soft ones better.  I ate so good food.  I felt so full but I did get few relieves repeatly.  LOL!  After the dinner, we played Fingo game.  It was an easy one but I can't explaining how to do playing with it.  I won one of games but I was tied with a hard of hearing lady from Port Orange, Stephaine.  Secertly, she talks too much.  LOLImage!  The way Stephaine does.  Always.  Anyways, I received 13 dollars.  I was supposed to get 25 dollars if I am not tying with someone.  The reason I won the money is that I need to buy more food.  When the game was over, everybody went home.  Elderly deaf couple took me back to my place and dropped me off there.  I was tired.  I really wanted to jump into a bed and be relaxed but I had other things do on the computer firstImage.

My parents got sick last week.  Both of them.  First, Dad got a flu and then later he gave it to my motherImage.  She has a bad cold and is resting in a bed now.  About my father, he gets better.  I can't believe they got sickImage when I found out!  I don't want to kiss and touch them until they get betterImage.  I don't know if Dad gets a flu shot recently and my mom.  She's supposed to get it but Mom already knows a flu shot have side effects.  She should have gotten it right away.  She can't do refusing to get it.  I don't want her to think about side effects of a flu shot cuz she knows the health of people can be hazardous by this flu shot.  I wish some doctors should be relaxing my mother about it and her licensed nurse sisters give comfortable advices to Mom.  Yep, my aunts are real nurses but one of her sisters gave up her nursing career to be a retired due to her many, many surgeries.  I will tell u about her later.  Her name is Betty.  She's also being a part of nun since the early 1960s.  Anyways, Mom always call her sisters in Pennsylvania for an advice when something comes up if she doesn't understand about unknown illness.

Last week on Tuesday, I bought a new purse for a winter at Wal-Mart.  It looks like a leather/velvet tan with an ivory fur stripes.  Very cute.  It's a medium.  It was on a sale.  I had trouble finding the right purse to be fitted by the size of my stuff like a makeup, comb, a wallet, etc., u know.  I don't like too big.  See a picture of my new purse below:

What do u think of this new purse of mine?Image

The weater in Florida is getting cold again.  Last night was about 46 degrees.  We will experience having a breezy and chilly this week prior to Thanksgiving Day when that day will be slowed raising the temperature to 71 degrees.  I don't need to turn the Heater on in my apt cuz my apt keeps me warming.  Not yet, but wait until it will go about into the 30s outside.

That's it for now.  I have to go.  I am starving.  I had a small breakfast this morning, an applesauce and 20 minutes later, I drank a coffee.  SYL!Image

Updates on the news of TomKat's Wedding

I am back here to update the news of Tom and Katie's wedding.  I was waiting for this news online to be edited until yesterday late afternoon.  I don't have time to do blogging this cuz I am busy at home and I had to go out last night.  I finally saw a new picture of their wedding outfit.  When I saw it, Katie looks so beautiful!  Awwww!  I like her wedding gown very much.  Yes, they were finally official husband and wife.  I can't believe Tom and Katie got married since I found out about their engagement last Spring.

Here is an update about the news of Tom and Katie's wedding:

Cruise, Holmes leave for honeymoon

By MARIA SANMINIATELLI, Associated Press Writer2 hours, 41 minutes ago

Officially, they got married in Los Angeles, but the spectacle of the wedding between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes was here, in a 15th-century castle that evoked fairy tales and lit up with red, white and green fireworks for a cheering, celebrity-laden crowd.

There were fireworks inside, too, a "never-ending kiss" between the betrothed after they exchanged vows Saturday. The kiss lasted so long it caused guests to shout "stop, stop!" said Giorgio Armani, who attended the wedding and designed the outfits of the bride, the groom and their baby, Suri.

The couple flew out of Rome Sunday for a honeymoon in the Maldives, said Ciampino airport spokesman Adriano Franceschetti. The rest of the wedding party was due to fly to Los Angeles later in the day.

The ceremony was a lavish apex to perhaps the celebrity world's most closely watched relationship, proclaimed with Cruise's leap on Oprah Winfrey's couch, bestowed with the nickname "TomKat" and raised to a new level seven months ago when Holmes gave birth to their daughter.

The evening wedding was performed by a Scientology minister in front of more than 150 relatives and friends, the couple's publicists said.

Oil-fed torches and tiny candles flickered from the battlements and windows of the Odescalchi castle in this lakeside town as the couple and guests gathered for the ceremony in the town about 45 kilometers (27 miles) northwest of Rome. Suri, dressed in white, arrived in her mother's arms.

The wedding party included Cruise's two children, Isabella and Connor, from the superstar actor's previous marriage to Nicole Kidman, the publicists said in a statement. The best man was Cruise's best friend David Miscavige and the matron of honor was Holmes' sister Nancy Blaylock.

Holmes wore a black dress and boots before she changed into Armani's off-the-shoulder ivory silk gown. Her father, Martin Holmes, walked her down the aisle and she carried a bouquet of flowers made by Armani including calla lilies.

Cruise, who sported dark shades and waved to fans as he rode through the castle gates in a van, wore a single breasted navy blue Armani handmade suit for the wedding, with an ivory silk French collar shirt of the same fabric as the bride's gown.

Armani told The Associated Press that Cruise, then Holmes, walked down a stone ramp lined with flag bearers in medieval costumes and to the roll of drums.

They exchanged vows in a former stable decorated simply with white flowers.

"For the Americans this was very special, because Americans do not have this kind of thing back home, and they dream of such things in our beautiful country, and you can see the surprise and the awe on their faces," said Armani, who also designed the clothes of the rest of the wedding party and the couple's immediate family.

Italian singer Andrea Bocelli serenaded the couple at the reception and the bride and groom cut a five-tiered white chocolate wedding cake. Fireworks later burst above the castle, but the view was marred by a foggy night.

Other famous guests included Brooke Shields, Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey and Victoria Beckham, wife of soccer star David Beckham and former Posh Spice of the Spice Girls.

The two stars arrived separately to the castle earlier Saturday, with pouring rain forcing Holmes and her daughter to take shelter under large, green umbrellas as they left their limousine. The sun was shining on the castle when Cruise arrived in a van from Rome, where the family had been staying in a luxury hotel near the Spanish Steps, with some fans shouting, "Tom, Tom!"

When the groom drove up, Holmes watched from a castle window and anxiously gestured with her hand.

Holmes was giving Cruise a Vacheron Constantin watch engraved simply, "I Love You," as a wedding gift, the company said. It said she bought the gift in Los Angeles last week.

As the sun began to set, candles were placed in pots along the road to the castle and in some of the windows. Men wearing tuxedos and women holding up the hems of their long gowns walked up the steep path to the castle.
Security was tight, with Carabinieri paramilitary police patrolling the walls of the castle and all vehicles banned from the center of Bracciano.
The flag of the Odescalchi family, whose ancestors include Benedetto Odescalchi, the 17th century pope Innocent XI, fluttered over the castle's towers.
"When I first walked here, I didn't know why they chose this place," said Emily Roeder, 19, an American who came to Bracciano for the day from Florence, where she is studying. "Then I saw the castle and the streets all around, and it's really romantic."
Hundreds of the town's 14,000 residents and fans of the stars braved intermittent rain to catch a glimpse of the arrivals.
"I want to see at least one of them — even if it's not Tom Cruise," said 15-year-old Erica Bandiera.
"I want to see Beckham's wife," said her friend Luca Costanzi, 15, with a huge grin.
There was even a bit of stargazing on at least one Seville-to-Rome flight when the pilot pointed out to passengers the castle where the wedding was taking place.
Scientology ceremonies contain many elements of traditional weddings, including rings and vows. But they also include certain Scientology fundamentals, including vowing never to go to bed without communicating about any differences.
A spokesman for the Church of Scientology for Rome, Fabrizio D'Agostino, said an exchange of vows with a Scientology rite was not legally recognized in Italy, and would have to be preceded or followed by a civil union.
The publicists said Cruise and Holmes had "officialized their marriage in Los Angeles prior to their departure for Italy," saying that was customary for couples marrying outside the United States. Cruise's publicist Arnold Robinson wrote in response to an e-mailed question about whether that meant they had been married in a civil ceremony that "the required steps were taken for the marriage to be legal."
Holmes and Cruise became engaged in June 2005, about two months after they went public with their relationship, kissing and posing for photographers in Rome. Their daughter was born April 18.
Much of the attention given to Cruise since their relationship began has been negative. He was mocked for the couch-jumping episode, criticized for his comments about Shields' use of prescription drugs to treat postpartum depression and questioned about his embrace of Scientology, the religion founded by science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard that holds an opposition to psychiatry and related medication among its tenets.
Cruise, star of the "Mission: Impossible" series and "War of the Worlds," was divorced from Kidman in 2001, was previously married to Mimi Rogers and had a high-profile romance with Penelope Cruz. Holmes, who starred in TV's "Dawson's Creek," and last year in "Batman Begins," had been engaged to Chris Klein.

TomKat's Wedding News

Do u hear about TomKat's wedding that will be held tomorrow?  Their wedding will take a place at a 15th century castle in Bracciano, Italy.

Here is a Yahoo! Entertainment News:

Italian Town Has TomKat Wedding Fever Fri Nov 17, 4:07 PM ET

This lakeside town was busy Friday sprucing up its medieval facade with a touch of Hollywood flair on the eve of Tom Cruise's wedding to Katie Holmes, naming restaurant menus after the actors' most famous movies and filling shop windows with well-wishing messages.
Streets were cleaned, the grass cut and weeds pulled. Road signs outside Bracciano warned drivers that the center of town would be closed to traffic all of Saturday to free the area around the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle the likely venue for the celebrity wedding.
By early afternoon, town workers began setting up barriers on the street leading to one of the castle's entrances. The historic town's narrow streets teemed with journalists and camera crews, while locals made their own preparations.
"We are all participating a little in this wedding," said Simona Palazzini, a restaurant owner in the square next to the castle. "And we are quite happy to do so."
At the Il Ristorantino dining spot Palazzini offered a "Top Gun" menu that included fettuccine with seafood called "Mission Impossible" and apple pie with cream and hot chocolate named after Suri, the couple's daughter. At the nearby Trattoria del Castello, guests could order a "Tom e Kat" a basket of parmesan cheese with truffles and mushrooms.
"Wishing you love and happiness," read one well-wishing sign written in English and taped to the window of a coffee shop.
"Congratulations Tom and Katie," said a sticker on the window of a clothing store, whose two other windows sported a wedding dress with a photograph of the couple, and a "Top Gun" theme with aviation outfits and jackets, and a poster of Cruise as Maverick, the pilot he played in the movie.
Nearby, a store had an arch of white balloons over its doorway, except for one red one shaped like a heart. A picture of the couple and a postcard of Bracciano hung from the red balloon.
"This is good for the town. It's a beautiful thing that will make Bracciano known to the whole world," said Iolanda Barbarani, who owns a hardware store.
Lidia Sabbatini, who owns a flower shop, said residents were besides themselves with excitement.
"Everybody is so enthusiastic. ... it's not an everyday thing to have a Hollywood star as a guest," Sabbatini said. "That's all anyone is talking about. Wherever you go, they're talking about it. People aren't even taking the time to buy bread!"
On Friday evening, Cruise and Holmes left the Hassler hotel where they have been staying in Rome to take part in a reception at a villa on a hill overlooking the Italian capital.
On Thursday, Bracciano Mayor Patrizia Riccioni said the celebrity couple would likely wed Saturday in a Scientology ceremony at the castle, 43 kilometers (27 miles) north of Rome.
While she stopped short of confirming the actual date of the wedding, the town's Web site had a picture of Cruise and Holmes under the headline, "The wedding of the year in Bracciano, Saturday, 18 November 2006."
Riccioni, who met with the couple Wednesday at an undisclosed location and gave them a gift, said Friday she had received a large bouquet of white flowers, including roses, from the couple.
"These beautiful flowers arrived from both of them with a thank you note," Riccioni told The Associated Press, adding that she was "almost moved" by the gesture.
Riccioni described her meeting with Cruise and Holmes and baby Suri, who was born April 18, as "intimate," saying that "they seemed to be a couple in love who is ready to take the big step of getting married."
She said that her office had not received any request to celebrate a civil wedding as of late Friday morning, and that she believed the ceremony in Bracciano would be a Scientology rite. She has not been invited to the ceremony, she said.
Scientology ceremonies contain many elements of traditional weddings rings, procession, vows, etc. But they also include certain Scientology fundamentals, including vowing to never to go to bed without communicating about any differences. They also stress the Scientology tenet known as ARC A for affinity, the closeness between a couple; R for reality, what a couple agrees on; C for communication, the exchange of ideas and thoughts.
A spokesman for the Church of Scientology for Rome, Fabrizio D'Agostino, said an exchange of vows with a Scientology rite was not legally recognized in Italy, and would have to be preceded or followed by a civil union.
The medieval castle with its frescoed library and a loggia looking out on a lake and the town that surround it have seen celebrity weddings before. CNN foreign correspondent Christiane Amanpour and U.S. State Department spokesman James Rubin married there in 1998.
The same year, Italian pop star Eros Ramazzotti and his bride, TV personality Michelle Hunzicker, had their reception at the castle, gathering a crowd of TV celebrities and pop stars, including Tina Turner.
Cruise and Holmes have been staying this week at the luxury hotel near the Spanish Steps in Rome. They dined out Thursday night with about 50 guests at a small, nearby restaurants.
Those spotted coming and going into the restaurant included "Mission Impossible III" director, J.J. Abrams, Brooke Shields and Jennifer Lopez and Lopez's husband, singer Marc Anthony.
Meanwhile, more VIP guests flew into Rome on Friday. Will Smith arrived at the city's small Ciampino airport in the late morning, and soccer star David Beckham and his pop-star wife, Victoria, arrived in the afternoon.
Cruise and Holmes were first photographed together in Rome in April 2005. They became engaged in June 2005.

     STAY TUNED TILL TOMORROWImage!
