Entry for June 14, 2007 - Got A New Hearing Aid and Shopping.

This late morning I had an appt with a hearing aid specialist, Julie, at the shopping plaza in Daytona Beach. Mom picked me up at my apt and drove me there. I got a new hearing aid for my left ear. Finally. That new hearing aid is much better than an old one. I can hear it clearly. I am very happy to receive it. With an old one, the level of volume was a little bit medium to low. That almost is not working. 2 weekends ago, David, my youngest brother, heard a sound of buzz that was coming from my old hearing aid but I told him I don't hear anything. He's sworn it. I didn't know which one of them that makes a noise until I found the problem. It's in my left ear. Anyways, I asked for a package of more batteries cuz I ran out already.
Mom and I went shopping at Marshall's afterwards. We couldn't find anything that interests us so we didn't buy. And then we left Marshall's. As Mom was driving a car, she noticed her car seems having a problem again. It's not working. So, Mom stopped the car in the parking lot at a doctor's office and called someone about it. She waited for her car to be a cool down. And then Mom restarted her car. It's working but she wants to leave AC off alone cuz if AC turns on, the car won't be starting. Then Mom was headed for the beachfront where Mom wanted go to Beall's Outlet. Beall's Outlet is in the shopping plaza and where tourists are shopping. Beall's Outlet is the best cuz it gives u sales discount. That shopping plaza is south of my high school and is across the road from some hotels on the beach. Many tourists do crossing the road to get there for their errands. Anyways, I found a new white blouse with no sleeves. Beautiful. It's designed by Gloria Vanderbilt. It fitted me prefectly. I also bought a nice blouse with short sleeves for my mother as her early birthday present. Her birthday is coming up soon. It will on June 28th. After we shopped there, we went to Publix, a supermarket, few next doors to Beall's Outlet. The reason we went there is that I had to get few TV dinners and my lunch and Mom had to get some food. I orded my lunch: Philly Cheese submarine sandwich. Yummy! After we left Publix, Mom helped pushing my wheelchair as I was pushing a cart at the same time. LOL! That's so funny! Can u imagine that? We were heading for Mom's car. After I got in, I finally ate my lunch. I was so hungry. It's late, at 2 pm. And then we went home. I had wonderful time with my Mom today.
