August 31, 2007: In the Memory of Princess Diana, 10th Anniversary Today

10 years since Princess Diana died. I can't believe time goes flying by. I will never forget her. Where was I when I heard Princess Diana's death? I was engaged at that time since April 1997 and living in Melbourne, Florida with Todd, my then fiance, in my oldest brother's apt on the 2nd floor. As I am recalling one Sunday morning, Todd and I went to Wal-Mart for doing a grocery. I was looking at something on the shelf but suddenly, I heard Todd yelling. I noticed he was in a shock and his jaw dropped. Todd asked me to come over to look at the newspaper. It said Princess Diana is dead. Todd couldn't believe it and had made a confession to me right away. In his confession, Todd had experienced a premonition of seeing the death of Princess Diana 5 yrs before. He didn't tell me that! I was in a shock. I can't believe what he told me. Todd thought I would not believe in him if he did tell me his premonition about it 5 yrs before. A lady with a baby at the store told us she heard about it on the TV news that morning. Few days later, I watched a funeral of Princess Diana on TV in the midde of night little bit. I can't believe she's gone.
I do recall I first got to know about Lady Diana Spencer little bit when an engagement was announced on TV news that morning but I couldn't understand what's all about cuz closed-caption was not ready to be invented yet. I was 12 yrs old girl at that time. Also, I didn't know anything about Prince Charles and his Royal Family. Until years later, I understood. Anyways, I did watch Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding day little bit.
If Princess Diana is still alive today, I would like to meet her if she comes to America on her official trip and can teach her how to use a sign language. Also, I would like to be taken a picture of Diana and me together. But it's too late.
I watch a TV movie, "Diana: Last Days of a Princess" about Dodi Fayed and Princess Diana on TLC few weeks ago. Did u watch it? Whoa! There were some interviews in it.
I read 3 books about Princess Diana. Here is the list of books:
1. "Diana: Her True Story" by Andrew Morton
2. "Diana In Private" by Lady Colin Campbell
3. "Diana's Boys" by Christopher Andersen
I am currently reading Christopher Andersen's book, entering into Chapter 7 of 8. According from this book, Princess Diana told her male friend she had a strange dream. In her dream, she and Prince Charles were in Westminst Abbey and about to be crowned king and queen. The king's crown was brought and placed on Charles's head. A perfect fit. Then the Archbishop of Canterbury placed the crown on Diana, but it slipped down over her eyes and face. She struggled to get it off, but to no avail. Unable to see, she now tried to breathe but couldn't; she was suffocating. Wow! It's interesting. I believe her dream meant Diana would be ended up in divorce and dead. It's possible. However, in another chapter, it mentioned her psychic friend, Rita Rogers, warned Diana not go to the tunnel with Dodi in Paris when Diana told her she's in Paris and Rita was thunderstruck. Rita shared that premonition with her. Goodness, Diana should have told Dodi to change their plans that night. A big mistake! I can't believe it.

August 29, 2007: DVD Movie: "Pan's Labyrinth"

I watched the last DVD movie from the library last night. Here it is:
"Pan's Labyrinth": This movie is a fairy tale but no adults in it don't believe in a young girl named Ofelia, played by Ivana Baquero. That's why Ofelia kept it a secret from grow-up people. In that movie, outside world looks gloomy and dark during WWII but in the end, u will find out what happened to Ofelia when she's seeing something magically. I can't give u some details about that. I like this movie very much but at the end, I feel sad little bit. U will see it. Here is a video:

August 28, 2007: DVD Movies - Part 2

Here are DVD movies:
3. "A Good Year": This is a romantic comedy movie. Wow, it's very good. I enjoyed watching it. It's a story about London businessman named Max Skinner played by Russell Crowe who found out he is inherited to a big beautiful manison in Provence, France by his deceased uncle so he returned there for selling that house without a will statement. London, England looks much gloomy and cold but delightfully, Provence looks much warmest and quiet where tourists spend every summer. Ohhhh, I felt like I am in Provence on my vacation. LOL! I would be rather visiting famous cities in Italy someday but I will try to visit Provence and Paris. Those are my dream vacations. Anyways, beautiful county in France. It sure is. Max was very serious doing a business but later on, he's transformed when Max came back to his deceased uncle's manison. I can't give u details if u haven't seen that movie but u will find out what's going on in there. I am recommending this movie to u. U will like it. See a video below:

4. "Proof": This story is about a very smart mathematician, Catherine, played Gwyneth Paltrow. She wrote how to do a math in the special book successfully and secretly. Catherine tried to tell her father that she got them all. I like this movie very much. Very dramatic. U should see it for yourself. See a video below:

5. "Pan's Labyrinth": I haven't seen it yet but I will. I will let u know about it tomorrow.

August 28, 2007: DVD Movies - Part 1

Last Saturday, I went to a library for borrowing 5 DVD movies and stayed there for 1 1/2 hrs. I had a fun and enjoyed. And 2 books, a history about Hawaii and A Year in the World by Frances Mayes.
Here are 5 DVD movies I borrowed:
1. "Pirates of the Caribbean Part 2: Dead Man's Chest": Whoa! Have u seen it? I enjoyed watching an action/adventure movie but it's okay. U should see a very huge creature that broke up many ships and to find out what kind of organ Davy Jones has kept a secret from his enemies but I can't tell u what it is. U will be surprised to see them. Wow! See a video of this movie below:

Next, I am planned to watch another set of this same DVD movie title, "Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End" in the future when it comes out.
2. "The Whole Wide World": This is a drama/romantic movie about a relationship between a writer and a schoolteacher in 1930s. This is a true story. Believe me. This movie was made by a book that was written by Novalyne Price Ellis. Novalyne recounted how she met a strange writer and his bad behaviors and his mental problems. His name was Robert E. Howard. She and Robert were dating few time, off and on. I never heard of those writers before until I've checked out their background in the website of Wikipedia last Sat after I finished watching it. I found out Robert wrote a book, "Conan the Barbarian" that would be turned out into a movie 5 decades later. This movie was starred in by Arnold Schwarzenegger who is now a Governor of California. Did u know that sci-fi movie? I didn't know that until I was surprised to learn when I found out about it. Have u seen this sci-fi movie? I saw it in the movie theater when I was a teenager and on TV movie few times. Anyways, back to that relationship movie, Novalyne was curious to find out who Robert is and taught him something about made-up stories. This movie is okay. I am recommending this movie to u if u haven't heard about those writers long before u was born and wants to.
I will BBL on 3 more movies to discuss. To be continued....

2 of Donny and Marie Osmond's siblings are a deaf. Virl and Tom. I do recall I heard a mother discovered 2 of her sons can't hear anything anymore on TV bio-movie years ago. Those deaf boys worked hard to get their speech improving while they were growing up. That is a part I saw on TV bi0-movie. I have found another website of Virl and Tom about deafness. I agreed with Virl and Tom about it. That message is sending to deaf readers who are suffering and it wants them to be gaining to overcome. It's true. I have seen it but some of deaf people are ignored it.

August 20, 2007: Wal-Mart. Dreams. Weather.

I went to Wal-Mart this morning. I had a breakfast at McDonald's during shopping. To my surprise, I just finished a grocery early, at about 9:30 am but Dad was going to pick me up at 10:30 am. Wow! I sped up so quickly! As I was heading for the counter after I went to another department in Wal-Mart, I noticed some shoppers and employees were on the floor to comfort an old lady in an automatic wheelchair who fell over onto the hard floor. I had no idea what happened to her I figured she must have a diabetes when I noticed one of shoppers pulled out a black case of blood test from her backpack. I can tell that cuz I had seen the same case like my Dad had before. I don't know if the diabetes is causing to make an old lady very sick. And another shopper who turned out to be a nurse when she came through a small crowd of people but I don't know if she is. That nurse is checked on an old lady. I guess an old lady is waiting for an ambulance. She must going to the ER at the hospital right away. I hope an old lady is alright as if she is resting by now. Afterwards, I went to the counter. It turned out a new male cashier who, I think, got a new job there recently, so I decided I had to explain about 2 different personal cards that he might not know what they are. After an explanation to him, I noticed his speech is weird but I don't know what it is. I think his speech is zero like nothing words that a normal man should be saying to me clearly but I can tell he's disabled. He repeated it again after I thanked him. After I paid the food, I waited patiently one hour until Dad's arrival to pick me up. 15 minutes late after 10:30 am. I wondered where he is. I know Dad is always to be on time expect Mom cuz she is always late. Oh, yes, it turned out Mom when I saw her coming in. And then I went home.

I have 2 different segments of dream this predawn before I woke up. The first segment was that I am going to be famous a spacewoman. I rode in the space shuttle as the rocket lanuched. I had a fun ride in it! Another segment was that I met a man who is a half-horse and a half-human at a theme park but I can't remember how to spell the name of theme Park, not Disney World, started with first letter K. I noticed his barefeet look different from mine. Weird. I said, "Whoa!" when I woke up. When I told Mom about those dreams on the way back to my place, she thinks and said I am an angel as she refers to a famous spacewoman. About half-horse man, Mom said a person is a disabled but should not be and needs to be changed. I guess she said that exactly. Mom knows what dreams mean than me. I hope I would believe in her.

Thank goodness, a high pressure is very protecting Florida cuz Hurricane Dean is staying away from it for a week. It's like a magical by God. Whew! Anyways, I hear Dean is a powerful storm and traveling westward to Mexico by now. It will reach there tonight when it will go back to upgrade again.

Went To Barnes & Noble On Sat August 11th

I had a fun last Saturday. I went to Barnes & Noble, a big bookstore on International Speedway Blvd (ISB). It's across the road from Daytona Speedway. I had been very busy in preparing to leave my apt that Saturday morning. It drove me crazy. I was trying to be relaxed little bit but not enough. That morning, my bus came to pick me up on time. First, a black female bus driver had to drop off an old lady in the wheelchair at her nursing home on the way. And next, it's my turn. She did drop me off at Barnes & Noble that is already opening since 8 am daily. I stayed there all day until I went home at 5:30 pm. Guess who I ran into? It was Patti who went to a high school with me. She remembers me. She's a hearing. Patti asked me who I am. I replied yes but I forgot to tell her my last name has been changing cuz I got married 9 years ago. We were chatted little bit. Patti brought her son to a bookstore. He looks cute with a pair of eyeglasses and is carrying a drink and a plastic box of chocolate cake that he is taking to home but I forgot his name. Patti told him she and I went to Seabreeze High School together. When we were in high school together, she used to date a handsome, hearing boyfriend named Mike I know. Mike and Patti took me out on one weekend. I had a fun with them. Few years later, I just figured Mike and Patti are no longer sweethearts anymore when I found out they broke up. I had no idea. Years ago, I saw Mike with another girl I know from a high school but I forgot her name at the mall one time. It was a nice talking to Patti but it was a short and then they left. Anyways, about an hour later, I had a lunch. I ordered a delicious, cold strawberry and cream Frappuccino with whipped cream and an Italian Panini (grilling sandwiches). Yummy! During a lunch time, I am decided wanting to look up the orange and white book, "The Complete Idiot's Guide To Shakespeare". I asked a strange man to look after my lunch for me and grabbed my purse. I hurried to pick up that book from the shelf immediately. I know where it was located. I have a good memory of that place. Then came back to the table. I was curious looking at an orange book while I am eating my lunch. Afterwards, I looked around and was curious about books for hours but I had fun and enjoyed. Suddenly, there's a fire alarm. Too much noise that bothers readers so I turned a pair of my hearing aids off until an alarm switched off. During an alarm, I've decided to buy a small bottle of water. As I was lined up and waiting for my turn, I noticed there is a couple who were cuddled each other much and behind me as they were waiting. Those couple were crazy in love very much. Whoa, I noticed the man with a bald head and strong arms caressed his lady's butt with his hand. LOL! OMGoodness! I was so embarrassed by looking at it. LOL! I kept continuing to look around the bookstore afterwards until I decided it's time to pick up my order, a DVD documentary, "The Secret" at the front and buying an orange book. I had to wait one hour until my bus comes to pick me up. As I was looking at a new arrival, a moviemaking book about "Stardust" that is being made by a movie, u know, with alot of photograrhs and drawing pictures. It looks cool. I have heard about this movie, "Stardust" recently. It sounds good. Minutes later, I went outside and waited for a bus to arrive. My bus came in on time. And then I went home.
I orderd a DVD documentary, "The Secret", by phone thru a relay service last Tues night Aug 7th. I asked that person to hold it for me in my name. She asked for my last name and then that's it.
About "The Complete Idiot's Guide To Shakespeare", I couldn't understand about Shakespeare's plays but I saw some of his movies. Movies are better than his books and plays cuz those movies made u understanding clearly. Each of those movies helps. I don't think some deaf people understand his plays cuz reading his books are difficult to understand for them if they are uneducated. I wanted to know how he does creating dramas himself. Shakespeare is a very good writer and smart. I didn't studying Shakespeare literatures in high school and college. I like the orange book very much.

August 06, 2007: The Library. The Beach.

I had a good weekend. I went to the library and then to a beach last Saturday.
First stop at the library that I had to take DVD movies back expect the other one and needed to renew a book. I talked to a library about DVD movie set 1 that I requested. I made a mistake by taking a set 3 instead of 1. I didn't read that number but I have no idea. I thought that is only one set of the movie title. She recommended I should be renewing other set 2 and 3 that will be due tomorrow while I waited for set 1. I am hoping a set 1 will be returned tomorrow. And searched for another DVD movie that would interesting me. I picked out a DVD movie from the shelf, "Because I Said So". This movie is so funny. Starred in by Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore. It's about a mother-daugther relationship. Have u watched it yet?
Afterwards, I went to the beach. The weather was so hot and sunny all day. Near 96 degrees. Whoa! Parking spaces are so crowded and full when Dad and I arrived at Tom Renick Park in Ormond-by-the-Sea. I didn't know that. I guess we were late to catch the handicapped parking lot. 3 vehicles were already reserved. Dad was upset. He said we should come in there early. I noticed there are 2 different birthday parties for kids and their family only. I brought my beach bag that carried a mat, beach towel, 2 books, a sunscreen lotion, and 2 different kinds of hats. And 2 cold bottled waters, too. Many people flocked to the beach. I stayed there for about 2 1/2 hours. And then I went home. I had a fun. Thank goodness, I got out of my apt for good cuz staying home on the weekend would make me so boring.
The weather today is getting hot. Sunny all day. About 96 degrees. Feel like this is summer.
I know August is already arrived. This will be the last summer month. I can't believe time goes flying. I still haven't taking a summer vacation yet. The last time I took a vacation was in Orlando 2 years ago but it was short.

August 02, 2007: Wal-Mart. Discussing the Bridge Collapse.

I went to Wal-Mart this morning. Had a breakfast at McDonald's there. During shopping, I headed for Photo Dept to do printing my personal pictures from digital camera in the computer. I successfully figured out how to print them myself without a help from someone at the Photo Dept. This is my first time today. I ordered 9 photos from memory card but I left others in it cuz I am concerning my budget. I am not done with other many photos yet. I take time. I will come back to do more printing next week. It was so fun doing them myself. Anyways, 9 photos I marked a check on look good after I printed them out. I don't have to order another CD anymore since I got a new digital camera from my youngest brother and his wife for my birthday. And then I continued doing a food shopping. I noticed the outside looking a rain after I got out of the counter. I knew a storm is coming as a dark cloud moving into from west at the time Dad was driving his car and about dropping me off at Wal-Mart.
Last night, I heard there's a bridge collapse in Minnesota. I can't believe what I saw. OMG! But I learned that bridge was about under construction due to an old one. Vehicles including a school bus were crashed everywhere. That was a big news. Years ago in my hometown, I noticed there's a new bridge to develop nearby North Beach Street. I can't remember how long that new bridge is being constructing until it finished. I forgot. An old one was demolished after a new bridge is finished constructing. It's a very long one. Wow! There are 5 bridges crossing to the beachfront in my hometown. A traffic jam from Volusia County to Orange County was worst due to a construction of new I-4 highway for years.
