An Appointment With Some Radiologists At The Hospital.

Went to the hospital for having an X-ray this early morning.  My mother drove me there.  It's nearby in my hometown.  5 minutes to get there.  I had on time.  I waited in the lobby of lab/radiology department until a radiologist called my name.  First, a radiologist wanted to ask me personally like my last name and birth date then she put me up on the table for taking a picture of my chest and bowel.  Afterwards, another radiologist/student, a male who looks like a Spanish, wanted me to drink the first of 2 special liquids right away.  But it tastes yucky!  I drank slowly, sip by sip.  It took me to drink for almost an hour cuz I drank too slow and felt my tongue uncomfortable.  Then the 2nd one repeatly.  Ugh!  At about almost done, I went back to do more picture of my chest bowel so the male radiologist/student wanted to make sure an X-ray picture looks good.  As I was figured out what the radiologist is doing, he noticed my intestines are not full completely yet but I think it looks about halfway.  I saw an X-ray picture of my chest and bowel on the computer.  And the mental screws inside both of my hip bones that I had a surgery when I was kid, too.  It's a long story.  Whoa, I could see white spots included my stomach inside my belly clearly.  I noticed the white liquid flowing downward from my stomach as it travels to my bowel.  Then the other female radiologist wanted me to drink the 3rd one.  I thought I finished drinking the last 2nd one.  I felt I am tired of drinking a weird liquid and I nearly vomited but it was just small.  Then she went to talk with my gas doctor on the phone.  Finally, that female radiologist wanted me to go to another X-ray room.  I stopped drinking halfway.  Thank God.  I hate it!  In another X-ray room, it looks different.  I saw a video of my chest and bowel in the computer.  It was an amazing by what I saw.  I could see my bowel is moving inside.  Wow!  But it looks weird.  I have never seen like that before.  The female radiologist put a thing on my belly and was looking at where the small bowel is located on the video.  She made a black circle on that spot where I have a problem with.  Also, I could see a mental nail inside my right hip bone.  At last, I am done with X-ray pictures.  Whew!  I went home afterwards.  I had to eat late breakfast right away.  I was relieved as I was eating 2 croissants and drinking my favorite coffee.  I am still drinking water to get rid of white liquid.

Had An Appt at The Hospital. At Parents' House. Discussing My Wedding Anniversary.

As u are seeing a photo above, this is our wedding day, January 17, 1998. Todd and Me. That picture was taken on January 17, 1998 outside the reception at The Conklin Building in Daytona Beach. The weather on that day looked improving 2 days later after a terrible storm. Sunny and 68 degrees.

I skipped a breakfast yesterday morning cuz I went to the hospital nearby for taking a breathing test. No breakfast was allowed until after the test. Drinking the water is okay. I felt starving. I did drinking it before I left my place. My gas doctor ordered me to do a breathing test. I had an appt there. When I arrived at the hospital, the valet took care of my mother's car. I didn't know an idea of having valet was developed there until now. Sounds cool so we can have getting in there in time for my appt. The valet is free. Before arriving outside the main lobby of hospital, my mother was having trouble to find a parking space. There are so many vehicles everywhere! My goodness! I noticed that, wow. We should come in early if I have an early morning appt there. Inside the hospital, I went to the laboratory department after an female employee checked my record. I swallowed a yellow medicated pill that a nurse gave me but she won't allowing me to touch it with my hand so a nurse was holding a cup of pill and swallowing the pill inside my mouth without my hand. Then I waited for about 10 minutes until a nurse wanted me to blow 2 special silver balloons that a gas doctor requested. I did it twice and then I am done. When I returned to the main lobby room, I went to get a cup of coffee myself that hospital is served for patients and guests only. It's free. Finally, I felt better when I was drinking a coffee. I was relieved. I waited in the lobby for several minutes while my mother went out to get her car so the valet have had to pick it up for her. Afterwards, I went over to my parents' house for a visit.


At my parents' house yesterday, I stayed there all day until that evening. Mother made me a breakfast. Very delicious. I had a waffle, a boiled egg, sausage, and a coffee. Yummy! This was a late breakfast. I felt refreshing. I ate them all expect a halfway of coffee. That afternoon, I fixed to set up a cord from a VCR box to a big TV set. My mother asked me to do it cuz I know my parents are an old-fashioned. LOL! When I arrived there that late morning, I noticed there is no big flat TV plasma set anymore. I was surprised to see that. It had been taken back cuz it's too expensive that I already know. No more movie cables cuz the cost of my parents' TV cable bill, I figured, was so high. The black box was gone. That was owned by TV cable company. So my parents are using standard channels again instead on their a different, big, regular, black TV set. I guess the size of their TV set is between 27 inches and 30 inches and the brand new is Sony. Anyways, back to working on the VCR and DVD players, the cord of VCR is plugged successfully but I don't know which the cord of DVD is going to. I was confused and can't figured it out. So my mother called David on his cell phone for a help but she sent a voice mail to him instead. That night, I had a dinner with my parents. I had a salad, 1 wheat bread, and lasagna. Lasagna was so delicious! I ate it all. Wow! After dinner, I had an lemon ice cream Popsicle. Yummy again! LOL! Then I went home. I had a fun that day. Spending time with parents is enjoyable.

Yesterday would be my 10th wedding anniversary if my separated hubby, Todd, is still here. If Todd is still here, he would like to take me out to dinner for our wedding anniversary. I felt sad and lonely that day while Todd is living in southern California. I am disappointing at him. We don't talking each other much thru TTY, or IM, or video phone, but the last e-mail from him was about a month ago. It's a forwarding email, u know. I am bringing up this subject about Todd now when I am feeling a relief as thing gets my chest off to tell the world about him. I looked up our wedding and honeymoon photos in a beautiful, thick album yesterday morning before I left. It brought me smiling to remember our wedding day. And then I did it again that night before I went to bed. As I was thinking about that wedding album, I am wondering if Todd doesn't remembering those great photos, did he? I think he's probably forgetting them if he is still being very busy working at a major hotel in downtown.

Entry for November 20, 2007: Went to the Hospital Today

This is Florida Hospital Deland.

I skipped breakfast and a medication this morning cuz they were not allow. I had to leave my place at 7:30 am. My mom picked me up for taking me to the hospital. I brought a printed map from MapQuest that I was working on the night before in case Mom gets lost. We drove to Deland about 30 minutes or so and arrived at the hospital there on time but early. We were waiting in the lobby of outpatient department. I noticed inside there is still remodeling. It's not painting yet. Every wall looks blank. Anyways, we were waiting for someone to call my name until an electric device vibrated me as I was holding it while waiting. We did check in and headed for 2nd floor. We were waiting in the lobby there until my name has been called. The nurse wanted me to change into a hospital gown but kept my socks and knee thing on. Afterwards, I laid on the gurney and waited. While waiting, I felt my right hip is shaking than my left one. Weird. Mom thinks I am nervous. I didn't feel nervous until I got onto the gurney. I was given an I.V. on my left hand. I felt cold so I was given warm blankets by nurses. I was told that an endoscopy will go from my esophagus to my stomach. Hmmm. I imaged that. Anyways, Mom and I talked each other about my hubby Todd personally. Todd was not there to comfort me. He's supposed do that for me. That's his problem but I don't want to give u more details about him this time cuz I am not sure about our marriage but I am still in love with him very much. I blogged about Todd few times last year. Check out his name in Tag Cloud if u wants to but I am not finishing to set it up yet. I have few more other blogs about him. Anyways, it was time for me go to the surgery room at about 11 am. I said goodbye to Mom. In the surgery room, a black female anesthesiologist was put me to sleep. I felt the numb started in my brain and then moved to my body. I fell asleep. During the procedure, I don't feel anything. A pair of my hearing aids were on but I don't understand their conservation cuz I am a deaf. I woke up when it's over. I still feel the numb in my brain and body is about wearing out. Ooooh. A black female anesthesiolgist sent me as I laid on the gurney to the recovery room. As she was sending me, we discussed Thanksgiving Dinner little bit. LOL! I told her we are going to have a 26 lbs turkey and it will be baked for 9 hours. I was told that by my mom last week. Anyways, while I was in the recovery room, I rested and the medication in my body is gone no more. And then I was transferred to another room. A nurse took I.V. off my left hand. While I was getting dressed, I was in a shock when I found out I have 2 polyps inside. A doctor called her on her cell phone and informed her about me. I can't believe it! I wonder how long they stay inside. I couldn't understand. How they got in there? They made me having heartburns for years. Then I finally drank a juice that a nurse gave me. Mom and I left the hospital after 12:30 pm. Thank God, it's over. I was relieved. And then I went home. Mom dropped me off at my place when we returned to Ormond Beach.

The Weekend. Paternal Great-Grandmother. Going to a Hospital Tomorrow.

I didn't have time to do blogging last Fri cuz I was at my parents' house all day until I went home at about 9 pm. The reason I was at my parents' house is that Mother asked my help. She wanted me to polish her paternal grandmother's family heirloom, silverware, in her kitchen sink. I worked hard to polish them all day but I did take a break once. I had a lunch and dinner between a chore there. I watched the DVD movie on a flat plasma TV after my youngest brother, David, moved it to the living room from the bedroom of guests. It stood on the lamp table. It looks big. Mom was very busy doing chores at her house in preparing for visitors' coming. Visitors will be flying in from Texas on Wednesday and stay at their house until Monday. Visitors are Katrina, my niece, her hubby Steve, and her first baby girl who was born in March in this year. Also, she's pregnant again! Anyways, David left when he finished helping Mom. He had a play time with his friends on his day off from work. LOL! About silverware, they look so beautiful. I didn't see them when I was little but until I got older. Mom kept them for a long time since my great-grandmother died in October 1978. Later that afternoon, Mom asked me to arrange her pairs of socks in the drawer. I organized them neatly in it. She screwed them up cuz she can't help them herself . Mom knew I am a very good organizer at them. LOL! I went home that night few hours later after I ate dinner.
I do remember my great-granny little bit. I didn't know her well cuz I was little girl at that time. She always gave me candy balls when we visited her at her house while I was growing up in Pennsylvania. Those were chocolate. Yummy! Great-Granny was at the Catholic Church for my First Holy Commonion with my mother and grandmother. I don't have a photo of us together but we lost it. We don't know what happened to it and where it was. Sorry. I wish I could post it for all of u bloggers. It was perfect. Several months later, Great-Granny died while my mother was pregnant with David and I was recuperated from 2nd of 3 hip surgeries when I was 9 at the same time. I can't walk with a pair of canes at that time until Spring. I miss Great-Granny very much. I will never forget Great-Grandmother.
That Friday night, my right hip was in very much pain. OUCH! Mom thinks I was doing a chore too much in the bathroom in my apt the day before. And at her kitchen sink, too. I was still in a pain the next day, Saturday morning. I decided I stay home all day cuz I needed a rest first. And yesterday my right hip is improved. I felt much better.
I will go to a hospital for test tomorrow morning. I will have to leave my place early. I won't be online all day but will probably be back that afternoon. Also, will not do blogging but I will might be doing it tomorrow night or on Wednesday. I will need a rest first. Wait and see it will happen. I will let u know. Please pray for me, will u? I would be appreciating if u did.

An Appt with Ultrasound X-ray Specialist at the Hospital Today.

This early morning, I went to the hospital for ultrasound X-rays and blood test. My doctor wants them. I waited in the lobby in the Radiology Department for about 10 minutes until a female employee called my name. A female ultrasound specialist is nice. On the computer screen, I can't see shapes of liver, intestines, gallbladder, and stomach. It's difficult to see. When the specialist scanned the transducer over my gallbladder, I can feel a sore in it and a stiff. That's where I have a problem with. I have experienced with it for years. The specialist noticed I have many gases in there. I didn't know that. I was surprised. My mother looked at the screen of my belly on the computer. She was curious. I asked her to look it. After finished it, I went to get a blood test again. Then I went to home to take medications and eat my breakfast.

About deceased Aunt Debbie's cancer, I asked Mother in the fax message 2 days ago if Debbie's cancer could be a link to me. I was confused and scared but when her reply is back to me about it, she said no and she think I will be fine. I think a cancer is different from polyps. Hope she's right so I can be relieving.

Sick Kitty

Hello!
I am back to do blogging this time cuz I feel much better but trying to recover from a stupid medication I've experienced yesterday. I didn't blogging for a week cuz I was not feeling well due to belly problems.
Last Friday afternoon, I did go to Wal-Mart to get food and other non-food items. I was okay at that time.
I went to ER at the hosptial last late Sunday afternoon. I can't stand being illness. I stayed there for 4 hours. A female nurse and a male doctor were nice to me. They discovered how sick I was. I had a fever little bit. What? I didn't know that. That's what the male nurse told me about 20 minutes later after I arrived at the ER with my mother. A doctor disnosed me hypokalemia, which is a condition of a low level of potassium in the blood. I vomitted once while I was in the exam room. And a stomach flu. I drank a special juice that tastes bitter. Yuck! And then the hospital discharged me from there that night. Shoot, I already missed watching "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on ABC at 8 pm. I left the hospital at about 9:20 pm.
I did try to watch a video of last Sunday's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition espiode with a different last name of family when I went their website yesterday but unsuccessful. I will try it again.
