Today Show: Hit-and-Run Victim Ignored
This morning, as I was watching Today Show on TV NBC , I was shocked and dismayed when I learned NO onlookers in Hartford, Connecticut (CT) are helping gravely injured elderly man after he was hit by a car in the city's surveillance. This video was taken on May 30, 2008 at 5:49 pm. Those onlookers are SO lazy and UNTHINKABLE! I can't believe it! God is not pleasing at what they are doing. Onlookers are not going to get a reward from the city of Hartford if they haven't heard about The Secret, a book by Rhonda Bryne. I understood to what happened to this video with a closed-caption on my TV expect on this video in my computer. It's about onlookers' behavior. I am sure these onlookers are going to be very embarrassed if they did see a video of them on a national TV news. Here is a link of video below:

Wow! That is very shocking. I watched it with my kids, they just happened to be sitting next to me, and I told them that the proper way to respond to an emergency situation is to take charge and get names. The analyst mentioned "bystander syndrome" which is when everyone thinks that it's somebody else's responsibility and therefore nobody does anything, so the way to get around this is to make it personal to the bystanders. Instead of saying, "Somebody do something" you need to say, "You! What's your name?" After they say their name you need to direct them using their name." "OK, Bob, my name is Amy. Bob you direct traffic while I stay with the victim." And so on.
