Have any of you seen the 1968 musical movie, "Oliver!"? That was a year before I was born. I didn't know this movie was a success. I also didn't know an Oscar went to this successful movie, "Oliver!", for Best Picture at 1969 Academy Award show. I was a baby girl at that time. This movie is referring to a book title, "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens, adults' and children's book author. It is the story about a little boy named Oliver Twist played by Mark Lester. Oliver was an orphan since his birth and his mother's death in childbirth. There are more details to tell a story about this angel boy but I can't tell you, bloggers. You will find out about this movie when you rent it from either library or Blockbuster. I love listening to this excellent musical movie.
Oh, yeah. I love this musical. One of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI have actually seen the part of London where the movie was filmed... probably not there now though... it was right off the Thames on the south side..
